The BuckSnort Disc Golf Course was designed by Paul Rothley with help from me (Lowell Dietz, the owner along with my wife Linda). I (Lowell) was new to disc golf and had no concept of what made a good disc golf course. Paul had that knowledge and I knew the features of the property. Once I got the idea of what Paul was looking for, I showed him some of the unique and interesting features. He found some on his own. From there Paul arranged the course to flow in a logical and convenient manner
A Unique Disc Golf Experience
BuckSnort Disc Golf Course is a private 28 hole mountain disc golf course in Pine, Colorado. Located on the BuckSnort Plateau, this course offers an experience like no other. The elevation of the BuckSnort Ranch is approximately 7500′. The course design features mostly technical wooded shots. One thing that is never said at the BuckSnort is that a certain hole is like any other hole at the BuckSnort. There is significant elevation change throughout the course creating a course with challenge and variety.

You will have the course mostly to yourselves. We only book two T-Times per day. Both T-Times are at 10:02 A.M. (one group starts at hole #1 and the other starts near the middle of the course) so you will be able to play at your own pace. You can play multiple rounds, relax, socialize, eat & drink. It is entirely possible that you will see more wildlife than people. There are Deer, Raccoons, Birds of many types, Bears, Rabbits and more.

We (Lowell And Linda) never heard of Disc Golf until we were in our late 60s, but we got hooked almost immediately.
